Astro SDR: catching satellites in software
Astro SDR is my satellite-radio project, built on a software-defined radio stack — receiving and decoding signals from orbit in software instead of dedicated hardware.
The surprising part is how much of what used to need a rack of specialized equipment now runs as code. An SDR, an antenna, and the right software, and you’re pulling signal out of the sky.
